1976 Interal AB was founded in Bankeryd by Göran Isaksson and his brother-in-law Birger Ärlig. (The idea was to produce greenhouses, but instead of this, the company started processing of different kinds of metals with main focus on aluminum)
1977 Industrial land was purchased in Habo where Interal AB built up a production industry of approx. 1000 m2, and the company was moved from Bankeryd to Habo
1986 The first CNC machine was purchased
1991 Between 1991 and 1997 the facility expanded in four steps; from 1000m2 to 4895m2
1996 The company EHT (currently FOGA System) was purchased by Interal as a subsidiary
1998 Anders Friberg came in as a new partner (50%) of Interal. (At this stage the processing was defined to exclusively extruded aluminum profiles)
2001 Anders Friberg purchased Interal
2004 The first robot was purchased and installed
2005 Cooperation with suppliers from Asia was introduced
2006 Interal began to provide aluminum die-castings
2008 FOGA System was sold
2009 Interal was purchased by the present owners; Andreas Simonsson, Robert Grubesic and Niclas Fotsjö
2010 A new fully automatic circular saw machine - double mitre cutting, was purchased
2012 Another robot was put into use
2013 A new Haas Multioperation machine was purchased. Mastercam was also introduced, for a more efficient CNC programming
2014 Purchasing company in China; Foshan Interal Metal products Co. Ltd. Another investment of Haas machine for the production in Sweden
